Gay rights pioneer reflects on decades-long struggle, sends message to young people
This month marks the 25th anniversary of a march against homophobia in Montreal’s West Island. The march drew about 1,500 people who rallied behind Theo Wouters and his late husband Roger Thibault as they fought to live their lives without harassment. The 84-year-old says his work is not done.
