Mafalda, the beloved Argentine cartoon, brings her anti-war, anti-soup attitudes to Montreal
Despite knowing international success, the legendary Argentine comic strip character has only recently broken into the English-speaking world, with a translation of cartoonist Quino’s work becoming available just last year. A Montreal art café owner is hoping an official statue in the city will help spread the Mafalda love.
