Montreal urges CAQ to grant exemptions following end of PEQ immigration program
Montreal Mayor Soraya Martinez Ferrada and Ericka Alneus, the interim leader of Projet Montréal, will make a joint declaration at city hall next Monday. They will urge the CAQ government to allow established immigrants in the city to continue using a popular pathway to permanent residency that was discontinued in November.
