Quebec co-op members rally against Bill 20, say it threatens housing model’s future
Quebec’s proposed Bill 20, which would allow the government to impose income limits and financial penalties on some co-op residents, is raising concerns among some housing advocates. They say the reform could weaken the mixed-income model many co-ops rely on, in the midst of a housing crisis.
