Snowmobile club stresses safety after pair of fatal crashes

Provincial Conservation Officers have expanded snowmobile patrols on Island trails, after a request from the PEI Snowmobile Association.

Two recent fatal snowmobile crashes — one near Napanee, Ont., and another in Pontiac, Que. — are reigniting calls for caution as riders take to the trails during peak winter conditions.
