Young people offered training as sports coaches
Young people in East Sussex are being offered free training to help them become sports coaches.
Sessions for people aged between 16 and 25 are being run by Active Hastings and StreetGames.
Organisers said those already volunteering with sports clubs and community organisations would particularly benefit.
Anyone interested can register on Active Hastings’ website.
Glenn Haffenden, lead councillor for housing and wellbeing at Hastings Borough Council, said: “This is a great opportunity for young people who want to enhance their skills and gain valuable experience in the coaching field.
“We are committed to developing young people in our town and the StreetGames programme is a great way for young people to develop their skills.”
