Quebec ministers denounce killings of women after recent death in Montérégie

Several women in Quebec have been killed or have disappeared in the early weeks of 2026, including a 40-year-old woman in Rougemont, Que., near Granby. This recent string of violence has prompted Quebec ministers to release a brief statement highlighting the issue of violence against women.
