Quebec study finds most victims of intimate partner violence don’t go to police

According to the Institut de la statistique du Québec, 74 per cent of women and 83 per cent of men who experience intimate partner violence don’t report it to police. Melpa Kamateros from Montreal’s Shield of Athena says many are afraid of blaming and shaming.
